PREPARE FOR YOUR WAX APPOINTMENT
You need to have at least 3 weeks of growth. This is often the hardest part however, If you can push through it I promise you'll be happy you did.
Please do not book an appointment if you have less than 3 weeks of growth, you will leave your appointment with hair left behind.
If your hair is longer than 1" you can trim it down to 1/4 of an inch, I do not book time for trimming nor do I offer trimming service. If your hair is too long your wax will be more painful and may cause more skin irritation.
Lightly exfoliate the day before your appointment (Do not exfoliate within 24 hours of your appointment). I recommend using a gentle Body Scrub. Exfoliating will remove dead skin build up, which allows the hair to slide out of the follicle easier resulting in less skin irritation and pain.
AVOID
No lotions, oils, or exfoliating the day of your appointment, these products can interfere with your waxing service. If your skin has been exposed to any form of sun within 24 hours of your waxing appointment, you need to reschedule. Waxing sun damaged/sun burnt skin will result in skin lifting.
What to wear?
I recommend wearing CLEAN loose, cotton underwear/clothes to your appointment. after your wax your skin will be sensitive, loose clothing will help avoid friction and the cotton will keep the moisture levels at bay. Tight, non cotton clothing causes skin irritation resulting in longer skin recovery time and ingrown hair.

Can I get waxed on my period?
It's the day before your wax, and your period just started, can you still get your Brazilian wax? Yes! I am able to wax you on your period, no issues at all! Just be sure to wear a tampon or cup to your appointment! Please keep in mind your wax will be more painful due to the increase blood flow in that area and increased hormones!
