HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR WAX APPOINTMENT
You need to have at least 3 weeks of growth.
Please do not book an appointment if you have less than 3 weeks of growth
(you will leave your appointment with hair left behind).

-
If your hair is longer than 1" you can trim it down to 1/4 of an inch, I do not book time for trimming nor do I offer trimming services.
-
If your hair is too long your wax will be more painful and may cause more skin irritation.
-
Lightly exfoliate the day before your appointment (Do not exfoliate within 24 hours of your appointment).
-
Take a luke warm shower prior to your appointment.
-
If your doctor allows, take a Tylenol or Ibuprofen 45 minutes prior to your appointment.
-
To lessen the chances of a histamine reaction and reduce pain/inflammation post wax, talk to your doctor about taking Benadryl 45 minutes prior to your appointment.
WHAT TO AVOID THE DAY OF YOUR WAX
No exfoliating the day of your appointment
No lotions, oils, these products can interfere with your waxing service.
If your skin has been exposed to a tanning bed or the sun within 24 hours of your waxing appointment, you need to reschedule.
Waxing sun damaged/sun burnt skin will result in skin lifting and scarring.
Caffeine can cause increased sensitivity, if you are worried about pain, skip the caffeine the day of your wax appointment.

What to wear to your wax appointment
I recommend wearing CLEAN loose clothing and cotton underwear OR a dress/skirt with no underwear to your appointment Your skin will be sensitive following your wax appointment, loose clothing will help avoid friction, cotton underwear will help keep the moisture levels at bay.
No underwear will allow the skin to breath. I only recommend no underwear when wearing a dress or skirt.
Tight, non cotton clothing causes skin irritation resulting in longer skin recovery time and ingrown hair.

Can I get waxed on my period?
It's the day of your wax appointment and your period just started, can you still get your Brazilian wax? Yes! I am able to wax you on your period, no issues at all! Just be sure to wear a tampon or menstural cup to your appointment!
*Please keep in mind your wax will be more painful due to the increase blood flow in that area and increased hormones!
