AFTERCARE

You now have smooth, bare, beautiful skin... you want to keep it that way, right? Home care is key! Exfoliate 2-3 times a week and moisturize daily. You will begin moisturizing 24 hours after your wax appointment, then begin exfoliating 48 hours after your wax appointment. You will continue exfoliating and moisturizing until your next wax appointment. This keeps the ingrown hair away, and prevents dead skin cells from building up resulting in beautiful, soft, smooth skin.

DON'T TOUCH

Don't touch! I know its hard, you just can't wait to feel your soft, freshly waxed skin- but don't!

For the first 24-48 hours your follicles are open and prone to infection. The area needs to stay as clean and as dry as possible during this time.

For the first 24 hours after your wax, NONE OF THE FOLLOWING: Lotion, Exfoliating, swimming, bathtubs, hot steamy showers, pools, hot tubs, working out, intercourse (sex), sweating.

For the first 48 hours after your wax, NONE OF THE FOLLOWING: Yoga Pants, Tanning (your freshly waxed skin will burn), self tanner, ocean, lakes, ponds, hot springs or any natural body of water.

For all areas we recommend wearing CLEAN loose, cotton clothes afterward to avoid friction and moisture. Tight, non cotton clothing causes irritation and ingrown hair.

HISTAMINE REACTION

(RED OR WHITE BUMPS)

Histamine reactions after waxing are very common and subside within a few days. If you happen to have a histamine reaction following your wax, check with your doctor about taking Benadryl. Benadryl will clear the reaction quickly. If your histamine reaction has white bumps, please apply topical cortisone cream to the skin with CLEAN hands until the bumps go away. DO NOT POP THE WHITE BUMPS, it will spread to all other follicles.

Prone to Ingrown hair? Don't wait until you have them to address them! I recommend applying my special ingrown solution 2-3 times per week. If you happen to get an ingrown, apply the serum daily or 2 times a day on ONLY the problematic ingrown spot(s). It comes in a mess free roll on and is formulated for all skin types, even sensitive skin.
